Coverage choices may differ from area to region, even though USAA insurance is offered in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

Companies That Provide Military Discounts on Home Insurance Policies

The following firms sell insurance to many people, but they offer special savings to veterans and military personnel.

Armed forces personnel receive discounts ranging from 2 percent to 8 percent off their annual premiums at Farmers Insurance. The discount varies by state and isn't accessible everywhere.

Military personnel, veterans, and junior and senior cadets at a military academy are eligible for discounts on their homeowner's insurance policies from Kemper Insurance.

Whether they are currently serving or have retired, members of the armed forces can save money on their homeowner's insurance by switching to Liberty Mutual. Discounts may vary from state to state.

Even if a company does not offer a military discount, you should consider that it is possible to obtain lower house insurance with a different firm. It's a good idea to compare rates from at least three other insurers because each one uniquely determines its rates.
