Horrible company; I transferred my two motorcycles to Geico (which was less than half the price and had greater coverage) and kept my other five vehicles covered. They REMOVED THE 5 VEHICLES FROM THE POLICY WHILE KEEPING THE 2 BIKES!! We drove without insurance for a week!! We recently transferred the vehicles to Geico, and owing insurance automatic payment, we are now being charged this month for the five vehicles that are not even on an LB policy. Today, I had a "customer service" representative hang up on me. Switch to Geico or ANYONE other than LB if you want to do yourself a favor.

Liberty Mutual is an AWFUL insurance company. For storm-related repairs, I'm being charged a deductible of nearly $2000. Of course, as soon as I can find another company, I'll cancel. And I've been paying them about $2000 every year for over 15 years. Only one other allegation that they NEVER FINISHED correcting was mine. My expenses exceeded $10,000, and they only handed me $5.000. They just dealt with ONE CLAIM and not in its entirety.

They won't give you anything... my ceilings were wrecked, and they refused to restore anything... they claimed my deductible was higher than they predicted. They took $674 from my account two months in a row when the cost was only supposed to be $363 and refused to return my money, claiming it would be deducted from the policy's back end. I'm driving an Altima, not a Mercedes, so I'm returning to Allstate.

I met with a TruStage agent, which I learned is the name of a unique section under Liberty Mutual Insurance, not a firm. They specialize in assisting members of credit unions. After speaking with the agent, who informed me he had been with the company for 18 years, he gave me a quotation that was $55 more per month, or $664 per year, when compared to my exact coverage via Geico. This is not the $581 per month savings that my credit union advertises in their letter. I wish you the best of luck if you go via them, and I hope they can get you a discount like they claim or advertise, but they were unable to assist me.

My firm sends me an LM promotional offer. Even with the discount, it was still costly. Every month, all of the payments were deducted from my paycheck. From LM, I received no correspondence, billing statements, or anything else. I assumed that because the coverage was via my employer, it would expire the same way that health insurance does. Or I assumed I'd receive some sort of notification from them if they stopped sending money. For three months, I didn't receive anything. When I eventually received a notification, it stated that they were sending my account to collections and that I owed many late penalties. Because the phone system didn't recognize my policy number, it was exceedingly difficult to reach a representative. I didn't have a login for the website, and it didn't recognize any of my information. The last representative I spoke with was really unpleasant and simply insisted that I pay everything and the fees right away. The rep then offered me unwanted legal advice, prompting me to ask to talk with a supervisor. I was supposed to be contacted by a supervisor, but that never happened. I gave up after waiting several weeks for a supervisor to call me. It took me a long time to get back in touch with them to pay my debt. Liberty Mutual's customer service was so awful that I will never use them for anything else.

I have Liberty Mutual and AAA through them and believe me when I say that this is the worst thing you can do. You pay for it on a monthly basis, but when you need it, they are unable to assist you. I was locked out of my car today and tried to contact them; I'm still waiting after 3 hours of being transferred to multiple providers and being canceled after more than an hour of waiting. This is the fourth provider they've assigned to me, and they've told me I'd have to wait until 2:30 p.m. Customer service was of no assistance. Get AAA separately from your insurance as a favor to yourself.

You've got to be kidding! I've been with Liberty Mutual for three years, and I've used them for my vehicle, motorbike, and renters insurance, and I've always paid on time. Liberty Mutual has always been willing to accept my payment with your giveaway. I just experienced a flood in my house due to a sewer backup, and in the process, I lost roughly $8000 worth of my possessions, including my love sack, my TV, many cupboards, and everything I bought that wasn't part of the house. When I turn in my clothes, I have roughly $1200 in Affliction and rock revival apparel, as well as a $329 pair of red wings that lay in sewage for 3 hours before we went home and fought the leak of human excrement all over my floor and clothes. I called in and filed a claim, and an estimator named Calvin Barker was assigned to me; he is the most unsympathetic, rude, and an abrasive man I've ever had the misfortune of working with. This guy honestly wanted me to have my clothing dry cleaned after sitting in human crap for three hours. We had to abate the house since he refused to help me pay for the hotel that we required in order to be able to move out, and E essentially wrote me a check for $234 on my $8000 plus claim. I almost got the impression that he was pleased with himself for screwing me up like this. I made numerous concerns to the complaint department but never received a response. Now he gets away with paying me $234 for $8000 worth of my belongings that were trashed after 3 hours of human crap. I'd never been so humiliated in my life as when he said, "Well, that's the brakes, son." I'm not this man's son. He told me about when my father died in the hospital, who died as a result of all that was going on with me. At a time like this, I needed support and assistance, and I figured I could turn to my insurance company for assistance at the time and need that I had paid them to provide. But when I contacted them, I received nothing. Do not, and I repeat do not, use this firm; it was the worst experience of my life; I've never dealt with somebody so nasty and incentivized in my life; I'll be hiring a lawyer and filing for arbitration, and I'll be reporting him for disrespecting my father by referring to me as his son. Buyers beware: this is not the firm you call in an emergency. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else since they will not assist you when you are in need.

A terrible company that wanted to raise my rates because I bought a newer car, so I found a better rate from another company and canceled my policy yesterday over the phone with a representative who stated I hadn't entitled any money back and that my policy had been canceled, so everything was fine, right? I awoke this morning to an email stating that I owe $120 by June 22nd. I called the first time and was put on hold, then hung up, only to be told that I was being billed a month late and that the first payment I made to start my policy was merely a down payment. These folks are scumbags, and I'm going to report them to the Better Business Bureau.

Despite the fact that I am a devoted customer with no accidents, fines, or DUIs, I am still penalized for simply being a customer. I've had Liberty Mutual for almost two years and have never been handled unfairly or neglected until yesterday. I had a flat tire and had a donut put on it, but I had to drive another 300 miles to get home. I knew that wasn't going to work. I needed a tow and a new or used tire, but their third-party roadside assistance was useless...said they found a tow but left me stuck for hours...needless to say... I figured it out and will contact State Farm... RIDICULOUS

I canceled my coverage three days before the due date. "It's canceled," the customer support representative said. There is no mention of fees. Now, a month later, they want to inform me that NC authorizes them to charge you a cancellation fee, despite the fact that State Farm and Geico did not. If your representatives fail to do their job properly in advising you about a cancellation charge and the account is closed, you should not have the legal authority to send a bill. That is a filthy business practice. It dates back to the 1920s and charges you for "protection." This is not the place to go if you're searching for a reliable, honest insurance business. They're con artists hoping you won't ask enough questions so they can drain your financial account even further. LIBERTY MUTUAL SHOULD NOT BE USED!!! They have no desire to provide you with high-quality care. They'll take advantage of you!

They're the worst!! Conserve your funds!!! I was the victim of a hit-and-run. My car was struck while it was parked in front of my house. This organization is LAZY. Despite the fact that the other party had left their bumper and plate, as well as video recordings, they refused to assist. The representative stated that the DMV search yielded no results. I had to get the other party's information on my own, and when I did, the representative magically indicated they had just received it. After they found the other party didn't have insurance, they recanted their previous assertion and even went on to "change my policy" and gave me this phony letter about the state's coverage. Why did you offer me the policy if that was the case? Why are you charging me for the entire month? To add insult to injury, this occurred in January, and I canceled; yet, they are now billing me for two additional months. THE CUSTOMERS ARE BEING SCAMMED BY THIS COMPANY!!! DO NOT VISIT THIS SITE!!!
